How does Chinese Medicine work? Chinese Medicine draws on the basics of yin yang and five element theory, which includes wood, fire, earth, metal and water. It is believed that these elements are interdependent and at the same time controlling each other. The body and organs are interlinked with yin yang and the five elements. Syndromes occur when there is an imbalance of yin yang and the five elements within your body. Chinese Medicine emphasises the restoration of the balance and strength in the whole person. Therefore, it is capable of treating many disorders. This is achieved by a combination of herbs and acupuncture, both boasting traditions spanning thousands of years in my home country of China. Herbal formulations can effectively restore internal balance. Acupuncture helps to stimulate points along the pathway of energy, which are linked to every part of the body.
My unique and comprehensive training allows me to offer a combination of these three forms of Chinese Medicine. As a result of our consultations, you will begin the process of balancing the energy in your body and beginning the restoration process of your overall health. I am a registered member of the British Acupuncture Council (BAcC). I am a graduate of a very intensive 5-year Chinese Medicine University in China. I have nearly 30 years of intensive experience.
